i'm new and have w/ a question

have a 2000 protege LX and I want to get some more rims and tires for it because hubcaps are not cool.(not cool) One of my friends has some rims with tires for sale, they are Platinum Snyper t thats what the rims and tires are call. Which are universal 5 lug. Can I put those on to my car? If not what size do I need to fit my car?
