I'm moving to Colorado:)

Same link, new pics! I climbed some mountian yesterday morning from 11,990ft to 13,300ft and it was pretty tiring and fun. Check out the pics!

Nice. I hiked up that same trail back in August. Even then it was pretty cold up there- but I was fine still wearing shorts with a jacket.

Here's what that sign at "the bottom" looks like during the summer:

It amazing how with every step you feel like your heart is going to explode and no matter how hard you breathe you still can't catch your breath. Of course it didn't help that a jogged up the first 1/4 mile of the trail or so.

Nice! Thats the same spot lol, the view has got to be fantastic when its clear out. We are going to try to hike the trail off to the right later this week on a clear day. Do you have any shots from the summit, because I bet you got a way better view lol.

I have a couple from up top but they are on my home computer. I'll try to get them uploaded.

So did you work any of the Keystone 36? My team completed it. We had fun- a different kind of fun, but it was fun. It was weird skiing at 2 am.

At least you werent lost in the wilderness, trying to ski at 2am.....

There were soooo many damn people in line at 2am Friday it was stupid. Thats when I got off work and every chair had 4 people on it and every gondola had atleast 6 people on it and up at the summit it looked like Disney. I did work the 36, but unless you ate dinner at the Stube you wouldn't have seen me, there were no runs open back at The Outpost where I was working.

I was checking all the lift worker's name tags looking for anyone from Florida- didn't see any.

We ate some crappy $25 pizza from River Run Pizza back in our condo for dinner.

What do they have you doing at Keystone anyway? Lift worker, snow maker or something else?

I have been working at the Alpenglow Stube (the AAA 4 diamond restaurant) atop North Peak at The Outpost as a chef, but as soon as we fully open back there I will be working at the lunch line thing they have at The Outpost and probably some helping out at the Stube.

I got some more work in, along with some snowboard lessons. As well as considering working in New Zealand for their winter season comming up this June through October.

The Florida boy has come along way! It wasn't long ago that he was worried he would freeze when he moved to Colorado. Now he's ready to move halfway around the world and have winter for a year straight.

lol, yeah. I'm thinking about it, and now that I have internet in my room I can spend my time not at work whoring the net again!!!!

Dude, Kiwi land FTW!!!

I wanna go there so bad.....

Me too, if I had $2,200 to spare for a plane ticket and I'd already have reservations.

Just saw this post. How is it going? You guys getting a lot more snow up there? A bunch of my friends went to 36 hours they go every year. You missing your car yet?
