i got that beat ..although that is a hood tha thas been taunting me for a while .. but I can get you a VIS hood shipped for $500 also DG is ass rapping customers for there prices .. i would not deal with them at all and the VIS is just as good or better .. but there is alot more info on this topic if you look here

Go with the Fiber Images man, good quality there. Everytime I see Sean of AutoR&D's hood, it makes me want to just not buy springs or rims and buy the the hood. iON's looks good too, but I'm not a fan of the seam down the center of the V weaved hood. APC's looks good too, but I've heard of their hoods having wavy issues. DG's is awesome too, but I really dislike having the logo on the front of it, looks pretty tacky IMO, the same thing goes for O.E. Tuning's hood. The logo kills it.

APEXistud - the "seam" in the middle is only cause by a reflection of the flash on the camera.

pr5owner - due to our "great" *read sarcastically* government, there's GST on top of the price quoted.
Also, our warehouse where we keep our hoods isn't in Alberta, so it still will require shipping. If you get a few of your Protege buddies together, you'll probably be able to save at least $50CAD/hood just for shipping

pr5owner - You may actually be in luck. We're having some of our stuff in the warehouse transferred over here before we send it off to Dark Nights in Toronto as well as going to Montreal. So shipping won't be as bad as you think

The top of my list though, right now is, c/f hoods from ion Performance. The non-"V"weave for $495 is a good deal to me, how much is the c/f colored kevlar?

The CF/Kevlar hoods are also lighter then the plain weave CF or V-weave @ ~9.8-10.1lbs depending on color.
