Silver Mazda3 GS
A/C isn't cold enough...

Hey guys! I'm new to this. I actually would come on to this site a lot before I bought my car to get some tips, found it helpful!

I bought my first car, my silver Mazda3 GS back in March - can't believe I've had it for 6 mths already! I've been SO happy with it and actually took it in for it's first service last week. I have 6800 kms on it and wasn't sure if I should take it in for service, as they suggest after 4mths or 8000kms - what did you guys do?

Anyhow, one little thing I've noticed recently is that it makes this extra loud sound in the engine when I accelerate sometimes, more up hills, but then disappears right away. I told the guys at the dealer about it, but it's still there. Anyone experience that? It's hard to explain. Other thing, I don't think my A/C is as cold as it should be...I should mention that to the dealer too I guess. Any other experiences with AC?

All in all, I LOVE my car, I've had a billions compliments on it - it's so sharp looking, drives great, and I just feel so good when I drive it! I would HIGHLY recommend getting the upgrade of the GS or GT because simply, the rims are WAY nicer, and it doesn't have the cheaper-looking plastic handles!!!

As for oil changes and so on, do what the manual recommends. I drive a good amount, so 8000kms comes before 4-5 months, so I go with the mileage intervals.

Don't know about the loud sound, but the A/C isn't great on this car (and neither is the heat either). In other words, the climate control isn't great on this car. And as of now, there are not TSB's on it.

Finally, welcome to the board and please add your location in your profile. It really helps provide local information. For example, the US doesn't have GX, GS or GT trims.
