You should buy my perrin fmic for 1000 shipped :D

Well if you have any mods, plz list them. It would make it easier for us to help you figure out what you need. O yea, just out of curiousity, were you on the garden state pkwy north this morning? Only asking because a blue speed was going the same way as me for miles.

Why is this thread in the "For Sale" section? I don't think that's the place you will get the best response to your question. For that matter, you aren't selling anything in this thread, so it really should be moved to the Mazdaspeed General Chat forum.

I would buy as many defi gauges as I can afford, then put the rest of the cash in the bank to save for a thumper kit + forged internals + fuel management + clutch + installation :)

Dude it really depends on what you want. You have to think about future plans for your car before you buy something now... because if you go nuts in the future and buy a new turbo kit or something, chances are the part you buy now will go to waste.

honestly, i think i would spend $1000 on a SMIC with hardpipes, then spend the rest on a custom exhaust. or spend $320 on an DSMConvert's Air/Fuel Controller, then $680 on exhaust and intake and boost controller, or suspension

you can get an SMIC on the boards for $465 shipped from CustomMSP, i have one and LOVE it. hardpipes aren't necessary until you start runnin lots of boost but they are nice if you want to spend the rest on them. i would take the rest and find an intake and an exhaust. the car is so restricted by those three. i think that would be the best place to start....Intake, SMIC, Exhaust, and if you got a few extra left a good boost gauge

good call - just what i was thinking.

custommsp's smic
dsm's hardpipes
dsm's afc

save up a little more money ...

ghl downpipe
boost controller
boost gauge

bam.

Get everything that DGM makes in Carbon Fiber. You oughtta get around 50WHP..with stickers, make it 60WHP

I would definitely get the corksport exhaust (~380 new) and DSM's AFC (~375 i believe) and a good electronic boost controller (~150 used on ebay). Then eventually get a new intercooler. I'm not going to get into the debate about which is better, but I do personally favor the front mount intercooler.
