IF you did your own KONI Yellow rear shock job chime in.....

I was curious to know how many of you guys that did your own rear shock install had issues with the OEM Shock mounting bolt being slightly to short?? cuz if you compared the OEM shock to the Koni Yellows the bushings are much thicker and wider then stock...Just curious if any of you replaced it with a longer bolt?? Or did you just reuse the stock bolt??

Don't geddit...the shock's lower fits into a box on the CA, the bolt'll go through anything that fits into the box, without modification.

That's what I thought, apparently the 2nd gen's are different...that's why I'm asking...

I had no problems installing mine and reused the OE bolt.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I didn't have any issues with mine either but apparently the 2nd gen models have shorter bolts and some people are suggesting to get longer bolts just as a precaution.
