Its about time! I will be selling the second car i have (92 new yorker) and using that money towards a turbo kit. Now, it would appear that I am going to be sponsored by a 'unfamilar' company that makes a kit for our cars- some of you have heard of them, but I will be making their name much more familar if everything goes down correctly. This will be a awesome. It is a complete kit with a ton of goodies.

I can't wait for dis (thumb)

I know you're doing it to save money, but it would be better to buy the kit and get it running and THEN sell the second car. Don't want to rush things because you need the car to go to work.

no not disco potato. gt28rs is the disco potato, the gt28r is just a detuned gt28rs.

i think the basic difference between the "r" and rs" is a samller turbine wheel (53 mm for the "r" and 53.8 for the "rs", as well as the inlet size. It is 3 inches on the rs and maybe only 2.5 on the r. Other than that i dont think there is much difference.

also, the trim sizes are different. On the "r" the exhaust side has a 60 trim and compressor is 62 where as the "rs" has a 76 trim on the exhaust side and 62 on the compressor side.

Hey...Congrats...it's taken yo ass long enough! Def get a BB turbo..that is the one thing i regret when i purchased my turbo...Don't forget to get some fuel management w/ that..those mp3 w/ advance timing are ticking time bombs as you already know!
