I want to buy a new muffler

I want to buy a new muffler but I dont know what kind of muffler to buy? I don't know if I want to just get a canister type muffler or where it looks like all I have is just a tip if you get what I mean? any suggestions? Also if I were to get a canister type muffler what is the max length I could fit on my car?

uhh not too sure. i have the greddy ti-c and it has a pretty big canister at the end.. but most people just have the muffler near stock location and then run pipe to a tip like the stock. its whatever looks good to you bro dont listen to other people man its your car. i would measure for you but my car is out for about a month getting some parts fitted. good luck.

Im thinking about getting the RSR exmag canister. Sounds really good. Also its small and compact.

I just had a vibrant universal turbo muffler installed. It is only 17" long and sounds great.

New muffler will not produce any power gain and might cost you some. That's how low the restriction is in the stock CBE. If it's a different sound you are looking for, listen to the best sound clips you can find, but there will be no power gain.
