peepsalot said:125hp/liter ain't that bad. It's comparable to getting 250hp out of an msp, which is nothing to scoff at. Except the bugatti engine probably isn't on the verge of exploding.
peepsalot said:Making max power out of a little displacement is a nice trick, and worthy of merit, but why should that be the main goal of automotive engineers? The fact is for more power you either need more displacement, more revs, or more boost.
wicked said:it's a waste,250+mph=waste of technology.
I like that it has a 7 speed, but it makes a enzo look more practical.
the only reason that the other super cars exist is because the are derived from race cars, this isn't.it's a street car that can never get used by anyone to it's potential.
all it says is I have money, but who the **** cars,my girlfriend is VERY wealthy, and drives a sentra around.
imagane the day you get a door ding on it's carbon fiber body.
Scotty878 said:Only 1001 horsepower? You say that like its not a lot. And you also have to take into consideration it has to be reliable...If they really wanted to, they could probably crank up the boost and do whatever, but why would they sell a car they're not sure will stand it.
And about using it to its potential, your wrong. (Not saying anybody would travel to do this) But for anybody who buys one, your allowed to use Bugatti's company test track for free.

It's also a good bit faster acceleration wise than any other production car ever.
Last months Road and Track (I think) had an article where one of their editors drove it at the Buggati test track. They actually have a limiter at 253mph.
