Your car is Loud because you have that free flowing Bosal header :p
I am still debating on getting an aftermarket header or waiting for a turbo kit.

Hey wheel man, I plead the 5th on that question :D but you can expect to pay $365.00 for the bosal, and that is a on the low end.

I can't wait to hear what the JIC will sound like on an MP3. Friday at the MP3 meet at In-N-Out in Milpitas, one of ARD P5's friends has it on a IS300 and damn is sounded nice. Not too loud and definately not quiet, more of a nice low dangerous growl. I'm definately getting one when the release it for us. Those of you who already have the Bosal full catback are lucky since you already have a larger diameter piping mid section. You'd be able to get away with buying the rear muffler section from JIC, which I've been told will bolt directly on. ;)

I was curious why people like loud exhaust.....Have you guys heard loud exhaust it sounds like a lawnmower...no thanks...I feel it should be quite with a nice rev....more itimidating that way.... Also sounds more like a sports car....If you want a nice sounding exhaust look at a Borla exhaust...They make some great stuff.....

Nah, the header will make a differnce in sound, but the Tenzo R muffler is known to be FRIGGIN LOUD! hehe.

IF anyone wants a loud ass muffler, i will sell you mine for $100 and I will get something a little quieter hehe.

Actually the Bosal piping is not any bigger than the stock P5's piping...it is a clean 2inch pipe w/o the resonator unless you go federal...Bosal found the best gains in just eliminating the resonator and retaining the stock piping diameter...I know this for sure because I measured/compared the piping at Rishie's house before we installed his Bosal. So, as far as clamping on the JIC muffler when it comes out...if it can be clamped to a 2inch diameter pipe then good news for all the Bosal guys...but while looking at one of the JIC muffler system for the IS300 and examining it with ARD and the GURU...it could be possible that the inlet clamp may not be designed to effectively clamp onto something that is only 2 inch. This is just speculation from what I noticed of course...
Mabe Rishie could shine some light on this topic...

"For one to properly extend the sound of their ass exhaust, it would be recommended (still can't find a quotable source) to insert a cone in ones anus, making sure to have properly measured the pitch of the exhaust note and then calculating a properly configured cone to extend the ass note to it's full sonic ability."

Is this helpful? Just checking. Sorry guys, I'm just really damn bored today.

I am now leaning heavily toward Bosal. The ability to change my tips is a good thind. Plus I would be removing my 2nd Cat!

My system seems to be getting louder with each passing day. :) It is breaking in and sounds even more awsome :bt:
