I Total'd the P5

First off a little over a year ago I was on this forum 24/7 then Thanksgiving weekend of 04' I decided to go out drinkin'. Well after lots of beer I decided it was time to leave. I live about a mile down the road from the bar so I figured I would have no problem making it home, done it a hundred times before.
Well, I got to the last stop sign, stopped. Continued down the last 1/4 mile passed out veered off to the left hit a ditch that you could park a P5 in no problem, the car cart-wheel'd landing on its side. Life flighted, woke up the next day in hospital with a small scratch on my arm from them pulling me through the windshield. Bought a xB the next month that is a year old today.

Glad your ok, but seeing a protege with it's airbags deployed is so foreign to me. I don't think I've ever seen it before. There have been so many horrible protege wrecks and the airbags never deployed.

Seriously. That was a nice car, too bad it was ruined in such a stupid way. I think all of us have driven after one or two beers, but enough to pass out and you drove? It's always people like that that kill others and walk away unscathed.

It was probably less than $10 if he lived a mile a way. Hell, you could have walked.
