I think I blew my speakers

just on the right side front though. i brought it to the dealer and they found nothing. i hear a pop and snap more so with hip hop, but will happen on talk radio.
anyone else have this issue?
 
Bose or no? If you have the Bose system, you could have blown the right channels on the amp (the front right channels on mine fried due to careless wiring on my part).
 
The easiest thing to do is pop off both sail panels and swap tweeters (literally a two-minute job, no tools required). If the snap/crackle/pop still comes from the passenger-side tweeter, then it's either the wiring or the amp.
 
I have the non-Bose stereo and mine does that too. Only because I have it way too loud and massive distortion sets in...Best way to get around that is to buy Alpine's new head unit amp...It hooks directly to your head unit and gives you like 4x the head unit power.... Of course you will need to replace your stock speakers then...But it is alot easier than buying an aftermarket HU, wiring an amp and replacing all speakers. But that is just my opinion
