I polished my stock Radiator Cap -looks good

In a previous thread I asked if you could polish the stock radiator cap. I needed a better looking cap and I didn't want to pay $15-$20 for a crappy ebay one. So I used Mothers Aluminum & Mag Polish ($5 at Pepboys) and polished the stock one. It looks as shiny as the ones the have on ebay, but I don't have to worry about the quality or the fit of this cap.

The only problem is that I'm not sure how I could make a paper sticker to put on top. I don't think vinyl sticker would work even with slits cut in it because it has to breath to let air out. But for now, it doesn't look bad like this.

That cap does look great, but my P5 engine cover is grey and not black like yours. Is there a reason for this? Do you even know what im referring to?

ya the "how-to"s on this forum on how to paint the valve cover are great. my valve cover is my pride and joy...right next to my polished radiator cap.
