Wassup everyone one of my friends' is possibly thinking about selling Mazda parts, and i'm just trying to find out what knid of parts you guys would be intrested in him bringing in. Remember it's just a thought for now. so just add in your 2cents.

shop

I am thinking of a shop that, will sell & service mazda aftermarket, & mazdaspeed parts. I will be a authorized mazdaspeed dealer, & also bring in JDm, & other performance products. I just wanted input on what manufactures you guys would be interested in. I will also have access to oem
parts as well. The shop will also do custom applications including turbo,& other fabrications. I noticed from experience that nobody really supports the Mazda guys or anything thats not really mainstream. I would like to change that.

Be cautious of freeloader friends if you are new to the car shop business.

"Hey, can you hook me up? I need________________ from you."

Also, don't concentrate solely on Mazda.

Good luck with it.(first)

Market

I will be specializing in audi sport, lotus motorsport also. As well as the normal nissan, honda & everything else. I was just checking the interest in the mazda market.

Here's some manufactures that are hard to get stuff from:

ATH Autosport
MintBlue
CP-e
Racing Beat

I can't think of any more right off the bat, but these manufactures are available on-line, but no one sells them locally. And all of the manufactures I have listed above, have awesome Mazda "stuff"

I think Mazda guys are interested in more maintenance things maybe? Spark plugs, wires, oil, oil filters...?

Come on guys! He called me today to see what we would be interested in!!! List away!

Aftermarket parts and affordable OEM parts. Sorry, I'm just drawing up a blank. All I can think of and what people are constanly are looking for is the O2 Sensor and hoses. Hrm...Teins.

EFREN, WHERE ARE YOU?!?! I know he's got a nice list going! Hee hee.

Oh yah, if you got a wrecked protege 5 you can get a hold and part it out cheap, im sure a lot of people need spare parts.

I'm always waiting for Daiei to put Royal Purple oils/fluids on sale. I'm always watching that products price, since that's all I use.
M6's also need to change the cabin a/c filter every 12,000 mi. and believe me, they must be changed. Oil pan drain plugs, OEM copper gaskets, OEM oil filters, stuff like that are always needed.
Also, look into stocking Lubro Moly's Ventil Sauber (good stuff, I swear!).

Keep it coming please

I will look into the mentioned parts & suppliers. I am serious.. even though its in the planning stages. I also plan on building another Mazda 3,6, or rx8. I
appreciate the input because, the only Mazda Ive built so far is a Miata.
If anyone has seen it, I did all the the work myself. I will do the calls to Japan once I get enough requests. Maintenance parts will not be a problem once we open. I plan on a special program for Mspec members wether it be dicounted parts, or special maintenance packages.

P.S. I appreciate the feedback!!

Well I am in arizona and I always have problems finding stuff in stock localy, aftermarket that is. I had to order my hks intake online and pretty much every other bolt on is online instead of locally. So I would say any part you could have locally the better. Actually I have to order a replacement element for my intake and the only place that has them is like 30 or so miles away!!! Online once again

Right on man. I think I will be ordering side skirts before the December show, so maybe I shall go thru you? What made you decide to open up a shop?

Peace

GTSpec Suspension Parts

...nobody really has a "one stop shop" to a full selection of suspension parts. There kinda scattered all over the net, and you always have a hard time finding em all at reasonable prices. I specifically named parts for the 3rd Gen Proteges including the Mazdaspeed as an example.....

Shop

Tell me this...Have you ever entered a shop that had parts in stock that you actually wanted. A shop that actually cared about you or your order, and that actually got it for you on time. Great deals are cool, if it came in on time, or was ordered w/ in the next day that you ordered it. I am cool w/ all the local shops, but I always wanted to run one the way I think it should be. Kinda the same reason I built my car. I have investors considering to back me w/ the power to do pretty much anything, especially getting to do what I love...building cars!!!
