Good deal. I always try to tell people to go to onlinetires.com for best prices.

OP...too bad theres no real badass tires in the stock size besides the:

Advan Neova:

but in the 225/40R18, I would get:

DUNLOP DIREZZA Z1 STARSPEC

Kumho XS

Bridgestone RE-11

They all have higher treadwear rating than the stockers so they should last longer and all will have better grip due to a better tread patterns (contact patch) and sidewalls

I just got 4 Hankook Ventus V12 Evo installed two weeks ago. Better ride and wet/dry handling than the Bridgestones. I got 225/45 R18 with no fitment issues. I can't comment on wear, but I would definately reccomend them based on price and performance.

yeap at 110$ those sound very appealing, im gonna check them out?

You say they are smoother? Does you feel the handling is affected? like more bodyroll?

Anyone else BTW?

I used to have Sumitomo HTR+'s on my old car and found them to be relatively weak on the sidewall. Replaced 4 of them from bubbles.

I had Kumho Ecsta ASX after that and only had 1 sidewall get a bubble. I hit a pretty deep pothole dead on (nighttime under a bridge = invisible hole).

I felt that the grip was better on the Sumitomo's, especially in winter, but if I were to buy again, it would be the Kumho's.

Be careful. Treadwear ratings for the purpose of comparing tires across different brands are rather worthless. Treadwear determination is not an industry standard, and each manufacturer figures the number differently.

;)

Back on topic, I just picked up a set of 235/40R18 Nitto NT-05s to replace my well-worn Kumho XSs for less than $600 shipped from an ebay vendor. I'm looking forward to seeing how they stack up against the Kumhos...
