(gun) so this morning i was playing around with my aftermarket head unit and my dumbass wasnt thinkin and i was doing this with the car on..as i was puttin the radio back in...there was a big spark...as of right now i dont know wat happened...if i fried wires or if it was just a fuse. I need my car so i can drive it. Anyway i cant get my car out of park becasue the shift lock is fried. so if i can please have some help thanks

Unplug the battery and step on the brakes a few times. This will reset the computer and possibly get it out of an abnormal state it may have entered when you sent that nasty voltage surge through your car. (Digital electronics, wherever they may be, can get into funny logic states which were never intended, and the only way out of them is to drain all the stored voltage, which can take many minutes even with power off.) While the battery is unplugged, test all the fuses, as you may have blown some.

Plug the battery back in, pray, and hope your car works.

i never thought that the shift lock was on the same fuse as the radio...well they are

Its probably just a fuse, I had the same thing happen to me, except me car wasnt on at the time. I just chose not to disconnect the battery. Anyway fuse replaced and it was good as new. thats your best case scenario, good luck
