i need help with 87 rx7

ok let me explain ,the car cant redline when warmed up but it cold its perfect.problem starts at 6000rpm when warmed up,i can ease off the pedel it trys to go past that but still wont pull.
i test my cas,resistors for injectors,injectors,map sensor,coolent sensor,tps and they are all in specs.

before this happen i changed fuel pump and filter and was it perfect,then i decide to put back a thermostat then couple weeks later the problem starts.

Sounds more like your 5th and 6th ports aren't opening. Put a dab of grease on each of the actuator rods and see how far they go in when you try to redline. What might be happening is once your car warms up and thermal expansion takes place whatever crap might be on the sleeves of your ports may be causing interference after it's warmed up causing them to rotate less.

nah, motor will still redline w/out the ports... just takes a bit more time to get there, and makes overall less power. I had one car that had one of the ports seized open, and the other seized closed... ran a bit rough, but it ran...

my guess is since it was working fine before he changed the fuel pump, and now it runs out of "mystical spinning triangle go juice" when warm, possibly the new fuel pump is faulty, and once it warms up, its not flowing enough fuel to keep the motor going.

may want to pull the plugs and see if they look like the car has been running lean.

none of which you guys it was the air temp sensor on the dynamic chamber,

i unplugged it one day and it ran perfectly
