Hi Phoenix people, (hi)

I need a few hours of your time if you live in Phoenix or close by to I17 and Union Hills. I am looking a classic mustang for sale in the neighborhood there and since I am in Miami and can't come and take a look at it myself, I need you to stop by and takea few pictures for me.

You really do not need to know the history of muscle cars and such. But preferably you should know what you are looking at and what to check for on such an old car. So if you have bought a used car before and didn't get taken for a ride, you will do just fine.

If possible, I need you to stop by the sellers house (anytime after 6pm except wednesday and friday) and just talk to the guy for 5 minutes and see whether he sounds honest or not. Of course, you should also bring a digital camera (doesn't have to be high end, just something with at least 3-4MP) and take some pics of the car and close up such as problem areas and rust.

The car doesn't drive so you don't have to check the drivetrain, just make sure something that looks like an engine is under the hood, lol. Areas that I am especially interested are floorpans (under carpet), under rear quarters, area between rear glass and trunk and the frame.

Please let me know if you live close by and are willing to do me a favor and check out the car. I will try to pay you a few dollars for your time, but trying to save up the money for the car. If you are honest and will not steal the car from me, let me know. I will set it up and tell you where to go or give you the phone number to call for directions.

Thanks in advance for your help guys. (hi)

dude, you suck. you have made me want that mustang even more. :D
amazin looking machine. so hot. i swear i would pick a classic mustang over any female.
i have been looking for one locally in south florida of course but they are either out of my price range or completely rusted out. some of them could still be redone still but in my case it is just not financially feasible.

here is mine undergoing some work. i call it rust prevention, lol, so i don't completely loose it and it ends up looking like the ones i looked at. down the road i will get it completely redone.

how hard was the resto and how expensive? i heard your cars in the southwest are rust free, at least compared to north east and florida. we don't have salt on the roads but we have rain, rain, rain.

Its all good. You can build your current Mustang into a fire breather and get the classic from Arizona and make a restoration out of it.

yeah, those are my plans. although the fox body will not really be a fire breather, more like a smoke spitter. i allready have the svo turbo for it. yes, its a little four banger. with the right mods it will be making 300hp at the flywheel.

The 200ci, 6 cylinder in my Mustang is able to hold 400 whp on stock internals. I'm trying to talk my wife into either a Paxton supercharger or a turbo with Holley projection.

responded. would like to do pics on the weekend, to get the best lighting...:) ;) :D

If yellow MP5 doesn't mind I'd like to see the pictures of the Mustang when this is all said and done.

Just because I like classic Mustangs.

:D

yeah, i hear you. once azmz6 posts the pictures I welcome your "been there, done that" opinion on restoring the car. asmz6, i guess you didn't get a chance to stop by and take pics yesterday. that's ok, hopefully you will be able to do it saturday. please let me know if you need anything from me. thanks again.

none. azmz6 was supposed to contact the person and checkout the mustang at his convinience. that never happened though. its ok, it would have been a complicated transaction for me anyway.
