I'm sick of birds shitting on my car every night. I need a good car cover that won't hurt the finish on my MP3. I wish I had a garage to put it in, but I don't, so this is my only option. I'm looking for a resonable priced cover for outdoor use. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

car cover

if you are tight on cash, you could ckeck out costco. they have a pretty nice three layer deal for only $49.95. i have one and i'am very pleased. it's even wheather-proofed with scotchgaurd. i fear no birds now! :)

I ran across carcoverworld after doing a google search. I think I'm going to go with the Noah type of cover. I saw them on a few other sites going for about $220, and they have them for about $185 shipped. I'll let you all know how it works out.

Bought one from Wal mart for twenty bucks while my car was waiting on parts at a body shop. Did the job fine. No need for the fancy covers. Make sure to get a bigger cover than suggested for your car so you can cover the wheels completely.

I agree...a generic cover would be all over the place in the rain and/or wind and slapping against your paint etc. Spend the extra cash to get a good one if it's essentially your garage. Also, if it's custom fit chances are better that no nitwits will come along and steal it.

I agree with the get what you pay for saying, that's why I just dropped 185 bux on a cover last night. It's a fitted cover especially designed for the MP3, so it should work out great. I'll let you know if it's a good investment or a piece of s***. It better be worth it, I'm putting off buying the Kartboy Short Shifter for this thing!!!

I thought that a cover wasn't too good for your car. It's just like a bra, when you go to put the cover on, if the car is dirty, the dirt get's grinded over the paint in the process of covering and you scratch your paint. I've hear from a lot of people that no cover is better than a cover, as long as you take the bird crap off your car when you see it it should be ok. Just my .02

I have mother quick time detailer with a rag in my trunk at all times.... I fear no Nird s***.... and.... put some good polymer sealer and wax.. and you shouldn't have any worries... it's alot easier cleaning the one spot on the car then the entire damn cover....

that is why you never put a cover on your car when its DIRTY.

Well alot of car covers are bad for your finish, once again, you get what you pay for. As for the quick detailer, I use it quite often myself. There are more bird in my neighborhood than average. I'm surrounded by corn fields, so they roost in the trees in the city. They s*** in the trees, and on the leaves. When it dries and the wind blows, it makes a sort of fallout that makes like a nasty dust on the cars. It sucks, but something I have to deal with. I;m hoping a car cover will save me from having to wash that stuff off EVERYDAY.

I found some decent ones from empire. This cover was a replacement cover for a custom cover that cost three times as much and started leaking water and collecting dust under the cover in less than a year. My Empire cover is 4 months old, has survived numerous strong thunderstorms and seering Texas sun, and so far is exceeding my expectations. I have 3 cars under cover, soon the other two will be covered by Empire.

Way to bump a 6 year old thread. Also noticed that all of your posts were within 15 minutes, and linking to a place selling car covers. (scratch)
