Saw it on IMAX 2 weeks before the DVD came out and it was sick. Also, Barricade FTW!

Maybe I'm just bitter 'cause I grew up with the real transformers, but that movie kinda sucked. The whole GM marketing tie-in thing was a piss-off as well, Jazz is a porsche 911 race car damnit, not a pontiac solstice. It just cheapened the whole thing. Making Soundwave a goofy little gremlin was also not cool. Megan Fox did make that movie worth watching, though...

It's a shame what they did to Soundwave, man. He was supposed to be one of the more powerful Decepticons, I think. They basically castrated him into a frickin smurf. Ah well.

But more relevant, I think the movie made me want a Mustang more than any GM product in it.

I just watched it on DVD at home for the first time, and I must say it was much better on my TV than the theater.

When I watched it at the theater I had great seats and an unobstructed view, but during the robot fight scenes I couldn't really tell what was going on, and at home the resolution was much greater, so coupled with the 5.1 it made it a much better movie at home.

Oh, and the Camaro is great and all, but give me the big black truck.

You can buy that black truck. A company starting custom making them after the movie came out
