Let it idle for at least 15 mins to see if you have smoke out the exhaust...turbo seals..

Get an 07 over an 06 if you can...better clutch operation

Plus one on the turbo seal check. Other than that, the normal stuff you'd check with any used car. Take it to an independent mechanic to have them check it out; well worth the fifty bucks or so.

Much props to the Legend! I have always loved those cars and still drool a little bit when I see one. Thought about picking one up years ago, but they're so difficult to find with a manual transmission and, for some weird reason, damn near impossible to find with less than 150k miles on the odometer.

Oh, and if you haven't seen this in other threads, Velocity Red is the fastest color.

Check for rust under the car if you can, check to see if the pipes smoke, check the tires, rotars.. all of that is usually pretty good indication.. make sure the exhaust hasnt been cut and welded back ( DP and CBE install )

Thanks guys i will be looking!! Did any spd6 turbo comes with factory navigation? Which model is the top line?

There were two trim levels: Sport and Grand Touring. GT added leather and the Smart Key. Navigation (and moonroof, for that matter) were options on the GT. Just my two cents, but skip the navigation and pick up a Garmin.

Nav was also an option on the sport; nav is kinda irrelevant, better and cheaper systems are available handheld (though the integration is nice). The GT is a really nice car...you get a lot of nice extras that you see in more expensive cars. I'm glad I got a GT...but I've had sunroofs for a while now and live in Pasadena, so it was kind of the only option. :)

When you test drive, be sure to check the alignment, a couple I drove had issues (including the one I bought but they were able to realign it). There is a TSB about that. Also, check the tires to make sure the pressure is even. Check for any warranty work that was done on the car, there are some things like the purge valve that go bad early and are usually replaced. Do the usual checks you would for any car (rust, fluid leaks, that sort of thing), and do a good test drive (including a hard stop and turning in a circle or around a parking lot). Drive it like you stole it onto a freeway, and drive it like you would in town.

I looked at cars.com for price info and cars in the area...good resource to give you an idea of what you're going to end up spending.
