Hey i just bought a mazdaspeed protege and have noticed a bit of an oil leak but im not sure where from. I saw oil on the underside of the block but also dripping of the oil line to the turbo.also i have added a boost controller but I am wondering what is a safe boost level for being bone stock with an injen intake. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I would stick with stock boost for now. The oil line on the bottom of the turbo is a known spot for leaking. Just replace the seal and your good. I would check your gaskets for further leaks. BTW any pics of your new ride? mileage? color?
The MSP is junk, just give up and give it to me. 
No JK, the MSP does have a few anoyances like the oil feed leak on the turbo. That's a common issue. About your boost controler, take it off until you have at least a mid pipe to get rid of the excess heat and look for a custommsp side mount intercooler. The MSP has a weak motor and has been known to blow even at stock boost when driven hard.

the oil line for the turbo always leaks..safe boost well keep it at stock.unless your like me and hope to break s*** so u have a reason to upgrade..if you want to keep your car as a daily driver then be safe..cat back for sound and keep the same boost level..or be like me and throw a bunch of money at it and see what you can get,but remember you have to pay to play..im hoping for at least 400whp by this time next year
ps what is the most whp known for the msp?just so i know what i have totry and beat...my budget driveline wise is 20,000 but can always be raise with a bailout lol

Please Get all the sporting mods you can get before upping the boost, that would be the safest way to handle it. But if you have all the supporting mods you can do 10-12 psi about, but you will still have a risk of blowing the bottom end.
The highest HP MSP.. hm.. almost 500 HP, dont know if anyone is over that yet, but they are trying!!
