I have lots of road noise on my 5..from the front...it has the stock Toyos with 13k on them...any thoughts?? thanks hk

Rotate the tires front to rear. At this time also check the tread wear pattern. If it gets quieter and/or the front tires are wearing unevenly your alignment might be off.

since I bought mine used with 13k miles they said the tire weren't rotated enough...so I guess I live with or buy new 1's..any thought on putting in more insulation like Dynamat or undercoating????

If there is sufficient tread you might be able to find a place to shave the tires a bit to true them up. Then get a good alignment to get a fresh start so to speak. On our MZ5 the majority of the noise is wind noise from the front pillars and road noise after the second row.

@torquelover so if use a product like dynamat that should cut the road noise down...and make the stereo kick too???

I am local. If you want to compare the noise in my car to yours, that way you have a better idea.

Or go to a dealer and drive a brand new one.

Acoustic loading will help with road noise and applied properly will improve your sound. I plan to add some insulation the the 3rd row area.
