It lasts as long as you make it last - 1 gallon = 128 oz. 25 tanks if you use 5 oz, 32 tanks if you use 4 oz, 42 tanks if you use 3 oz, etc etc etc. I noticed 50 miles more per tank on avg using 4-5 oz per tank vs. using no acetone driving with same driving habits. It was noticeable on the first tank, 4-5oz in every tank. More or less to fine tune it for your particular setup. Just not worth the hassle & iffiness with long-term use on internal fueling components/seals. Used it for several months collecting data.how long does it last? how often do you have to add more acetone to notice a difference?
Acetone is sold in plastic containers for women to remove their finger nail polish with. It depends on the type plastic or rubber & whether or not you have them. Somebody soaked some s*** in straight acetone for weeks without issue. There is compelling info for & against all over the place. Not worth the risk with these contrary ass motors based on the small improvement in mpg IMO. The risk of getting it on your paint isn't something I choose to take as well. Do what you will is what I say, there is no magic to be found that anyone has proven - no voodoo either.

Too much s*** back & forth without any definitive results in either direction.
lol. exactly the kinda s*** I quit trying to consider & just run my 87 octane it was designed for from as decent of places you can find to get it from & leave it at that.... & maybe the very occasional splash of Lucas Oil injector cleaner.
