i also have water in the trunk. im more concerned in the water in the cab. any ideas?

That's beyond a leak and major water intrusion. I recently fixed a T-bird that leaked a lot in the passenger footwell. Turns out the factory weatherstripping underneath the cowl was gone over the fresh air intake duct. Replacing it fixed that. But your wet rear seat foam suggest a leak originating from the trunk. So its got to be the weather stripping seal, tail lamps or rear window seal allowing in that much water. I'd also pull the splash shield up front to make sure that the seam sealer on the firewall is still intact. Good luck tracking it down.

If you haven't already do a test by pouring some water into the cowling area on the passenger side to see where its coming in at.

I'm about to go at mine again since the heavy rain last night. Mine is only on the passengerside floorboard. Remove windshield wipers and plastic grated cover. Poke way down toward the fender in either corner on drivers and passenger side is a passage for the water to evacuate through the fender. I gets blocked up with dirt leaves and then overflows into areas it shouldn't.

I would say try the seam first , and most of the xtr time might be let to drinking or whatever it is that u like...

i also have developed this same problem. not as bad but just enough to wilt a paper if layed in the passenger floor for a few days.

I've got some pretty serious water in my trunk and have no idea where thats from. Anyone have this too. I saw the OP said something about it

any pics of this seam? and what should i use to seal it?

Check the two links posted on the first page. I took some pics of the outside of the seams that split. Unfortunately, where they split is up behind the dash and hard to get a picture of.

As for sealing them, I got auto body seam sealer from Napa. It came in a big caulk-style tube so i ended up putting some on a gloved finger and snaking my hand up to where the seam was. And it has been over 2 years with no problems.
