I hate women salesman!

I called another dealer today. It was Clarksville Mazda. I just so happen to get a woman salesperson....heehee..... Well I told her I wanted some info on the MSP and said well....our managers just got back from the MSP demo in Houston. She then proceeded to run down the list of the features...stumbling along the way many times, but the funniest was when she said Tokyo Shocks.... After a few tics, I said can I talk to the guy that was at the demo, she said, well I can tell you...I was like whatever..... and she said if I can get your name and number I can call you back with more info.

She calls me back 5 minutes later and said that there wasn't any more info available than what you see in mags. I then asked about a date, she said they should be in, in late november. I then asked what are they going to sell for she then told me they are going to mark them up 2 - 3K past MSRP. :bs: I was like, well I just happen to have a memo from a VP of Sales that says you shouldn't be marking them up at all.

I said why would I pay 3K markup when I can go to Nissan and pay 5K less for something very comparable. Or if I wanted to pay that much I could go get a WRX. She then informed me that they had 3 MP3's and they marked them up 3K and sold everyone of them. I then told her I have talked to many dealers and I have a deposit with a dealer for MSRP. She tries to give me more BS and I just say politely thank you for you time and hung up on her ass....man I will never do business with someone who treats me like that!

I have a feeling most dealers are going to do this...they are suffering from "Mini dealer" syndrome.

Oooh, "mini dealer syndrome." that one got me, my eyes are watering from the laughter

The Good ole Fort (wayne). Ain't s*** around here. When we race we go to Muncie. I have to go 2 hours to Michigan to get my MSP.

Not "mini dealer" syndrome, but "Mini dealer" syndrome...the difference being those dealers that are selling Mini Coopers and attempting to reap the benefits of their present popularity among some by large markups over MSRP.

I know that this isn't the case among all Mini dealers, as my dad got a great deal on one, but I think that this syndrome may be contagious. I know that I, for one, am getting immunized next week.

Haha just as a note....guy dealers can be just as big jerks...if not bigger! :) The dealer markup thing is ridiculous...nobody should have to ever pay above MSRP. :(

Yeah, but generally speaking women salepersons don't know their ass from their ****...they try to sell based on their looks...... just another friendly biggotted opinion of.......

The woman called me back today and said that they will be charging MSRP. Still said next month as a delivery date.

Hey....i'm gonna have to put my foot down and defend salespersons around the world.....there are 2 types.....the ones that dont know squat about what they are selling except for whats told and handed to them on info sheets for them to learn and are really slick with words and know how to talk around the customers questions and talk them into the car...and then the ones that know everything bout their products and are straight forward and honest....and usually ending up gettin let go from the dealers...cuz thats not what they want....dealerships want salespeople that will do exactly what they are told and trained to do.....not people who are gonna be 100% honest to the customer......like when a customer asks what the price of the vehicle is.....my normal response is telling them what the vehicle is....then continue with my presentation of the vehicle.....the average dealer bred salesperson will say...well, sir or maam....is this the vehicle you want...person says yea....salesperson says....well....if this is the exact vehicle you want then price wont be a problem.....dealers train people to beat around the question without givin a direct answer to keep the persons mind off their goal and ultimately make you want that car......thats more of my 2 cents...enjoy
