I Hate Mazda

Today I went to concourse mazda to get a couple things looked at. Clutch chattering, possible loose alternator belt, clunking in rear when stopping, and my rear bumper is sagging. So I get there and they tell me to bring it in the garage. First the idiot at the desk asks me whats wrong, when I tell him everthing, he says "well were not gonna be able to do anyhting today cause this vehicle is flagged by mazda to have no warranty" I was upset and went into the magnusson spiel about how you can only void when you prove what it had caused the problem. He was pretty much just smirking saying he cant do anything, blah blah. Another thing about this is, they are voiding my warranty over a boost controller that wasnt mine, that was in the bottom of my glovebox, covered with stuff, that they "found" somehow when they were doing the flash!:bs: They had no business in there whatsoever, and it wasnt even on the damn car. I brought this up and he smugly said there was nothing they could do about it, but if I payed them theyed gladly service it. This is bulls***. He wouldnt even fix my bumper because he said all aspects of my warranty are canceled. This is illegal....im getting totally ****** here. Mazda is such a b**** about voiding every warranty they see. Im seriously considering selling the car and buying something else, im so frustrated right now.(bang) I dont really have the money or time to wage a warranty war against mazda, for something that shouldnt have even happened. Do any of you have some suggestions about what I should do?

on a lighter note my roland sp-505 came today

if i were you, i'd ask for their mazda rep's contact info...talk it over with them...the law clearly states that unless the mod causes the problem, it's still under warranty. usually any mention of a lawyer will make them do anything you ask...it's not "mazda" that's voiding your warranty, it's the dealership. i'd be a bastard and raise hell in front of everyone...and then go to the General Manager and raise even more hell...make sure you're standing on the showroom floor in front of everyone and just tell it like it is. they don't want to take care of their customers...they just want their money. sorry for the rant.

yeah i did mention lawyers and stuff and he just kept saying we cant do anything
plus i was back in the service bay all hidden from the public, couldnt make much of a scene, but they werent about to move. Unfortunatly im not a big or very intimidating person so they tend to brush me off. I hate being 20.

that is such bulls***. have you tried to take it to a different mazda dealership that isnt in your area? maybe they are just bullshitting and they are the only ones that refuse to service it. there are so many wrong doings on their part i cant even tell you where to begin with those fuckbags

yea the stealership alwayz has the upper hand in that situation meaning lawyers n s*** they have the funds & will fight it & will prolly win :(

That sucks man. I just realized I left a boost controller in my ashtray, and my car's at mazda right now. I've never installed it either. Really sorry to hear about all this, definitely raise hell.

thats bulls***, try to go to another mazda dealership and ask them to fix the problems thats it. if they don't call mazda and talk to the costumer service. otherwise sell you car and get another better.

Hahahaha This Is Funny Because I Am In The Same Situation. Every Aspect Of My Warranty Is Voided. You Cannot Directly Contact The District Rep You Have To Have Them Set Up A Meeting With Him And He Is Going To Say That Your Money Is Just As Good As Mazda Blah Blah ****** Blah. Unfortunately The Mag Law Doesnt Protect Us Because Of How Our Warranty Is Written.... You Should Read The Owners Manual Warranty Section Is All They Kept Telling Me Then I Spit In The District Reps Face And Drove The Car Off The Lot///////////////////////

yeah thats how i originally found out about them going into my glove compartment, in my hometown I have a local non mazdaspeed dealer around, that will usually do non speed work for me. The guy at the desk knows me a little, and about 2-3 months ago when i was going in to get my rear bushing replaced, he told me that when he brought my car up on the screen, he got all this info with it about how it was flagged for warranty, and it even said how they founf the MBC in the glovebox. He told me all that but still did my work cause i know the place, but that means that this info is available to all dealers. Arrrggghhh!

how much do used evos go for these days?

so they voided your warranty because they found the mbc in the glove box??? it was installed allready o it was there only?? (confused)

how about looking at if from there perspective.......why would you have a boost controller, even in the car........to use as a paper weight?

no they prolly deduced that you at 1 time had it on the car......creating more power. therefore wreaking havoc on the clutch disc.........hmmmm....clutch chatter.

thats the exp. repair, now the other things i can see your point..........have you past history w/ this dealership?

This statement is untrue. Mazda cannot undue the Consumer Bill of Rights. This is a fact. No matter what they write in the owner's manual. Hire a lawyer, or better yet, marry one like I did, she'll always be on retainer.

nothing bad has ever reall happened between me and the dealership, they are pretty bad but they are the best in my area after going to a couple, which is unfortunate. As far as clutch goes i baby that thing, very easy on it. They have always come up with weak excuses. Like last time i treid to get the rear bumper fixed, they said they measured the difference between left and right sides and it was only an 1/8 of an inch difference. I told them no s***, the whole thing is falling off. They also brushed the clutch thing off last time blaming it on the exhaust, i asked them why, and they couldnt give me an answer.

maybe they read this site.......
