He didn't call you out about the plastic part, he called you out on the fake cf part which IMO does look out of place. There was no reason to get so defensive right away, you posted a thread about your new grill obviously looking for attention and you got some, positive and negative, if you can't handle negative comments it would be in your best interest to stop posting.

My opinion, Paint it black and it would look alot cleaner/blend in. Thats the reason I ditched my Silviaparts.com grill back for a 2-tone painted stocker, it just flat out looked awful IMO.

Just make sure you keep everything clean.

wow fake carbon fiber and neon lights.. now see u said apperance wise u were only doing the lights.. ill agree the eclipse is a riced out car but ur heading down the same path. if u put decals and a body kit on ur car ud be just like the eclipse..(rice)(ricer)

if you want it black, i would suggest getting a quote from a body shop. they shouldn't charge you that much. you basically just don't want to spray paint it, because no matter how good you are, or how hard you try, that never works right.

yeah shouldnt be more then 200 bucks for a little piece like that.

I don't mind the style of the product.....but the fitment looks really crappy IMO. I'm not saying this to be mean or anything, but you said you wanted to know so I'm telling you. The gaps don't looks like they should be there, it looks like something was put in a spot it doesn't belong. Would be fine and dandy if it was meant for your car.

The peice is meant for my car - just 1 year difference, looks exactly the same as the one for my car, just different clips to hold it in place.....sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Well, it's not meant for your car then, it's meant for the model year before your car. Going from your original post I assumed that the gap at the bottom would be taken care of if the piece was designed for your model year. I was just disagreeing with what you originally said, it doesn't look like it's supposed to be that way, the piece looks too small for the spot.

i quickly noticed that the people who sold me it had lied and it only fits 03 - 05 models...Well I made it work anyhow....There is a slight gap at the bottom but it looks like its suppose to be that way....
