this goes back to the engine stuff we talked about last night. the 3S-GTE is the engine the altezza came with in japan (also the engine in the turbo MR2 over here) it is a lighter engine that can be pushed closer to the fire wall of the IS not to mention powerwise it can be upgraded to areas of 500-600hp for about the same price it would take to get that 2jz-ge there since the internals of the NA version were not the same as the renowned 2jz-gte
