Hey out there... Im new here.. so yeah, but umm i just got my 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege... only have 60 miles on it... (Then number sixty) lol... so yeah... im in love.. but i got one question... You know when 7you shift and it makes that little noise, is that just the turbo? Thanks... hehehe :wtf: just confisued :happy: thanks a lot... I LOVE MY CAR!

the noise, that sounds like a little rattle is the bypass valve opening up (i know, u people will argue with me on that, but let's not confuse him just yet ;) )



P.S. what color is your new baby?
 
Contgrats my friend! I got mine lastnight. Blue was my color of choice! So tell us where you're from and what color ya got! Silver I'm guessin? :D
 
if that noise is a fluttering of sorts, we call it "the turkey" because you'll notice it sounds oddly similar to the gobble they make =)

I am In overland Park Kansas. I got silver... yes... and im hopin after the 30 days, SLVRBLLT is going to be my liscense plate... hehe... I didnt know how to drive a stick until last night, so im obsessed now hehe... Thanks again...

But for the record...it does not sound anything like a turkey.

You guys got some strange sounding turkeys where you live!! It in no way what so ever sounds like a turkey!! LOL!! (outie)
 
Congrats! Another young msp owner ;). I think you might be the youngest yet. Have fun and be careful. Also, during break in, make sure you don't beat on it too hard, you don't wanna bring the turkey out too much just yet. Congrats again! The silver looks amazing.
