I bought a 2008 MS3 about a month ago. Absolutely love it. I consider myself to be very lucky...
Funny story, true story.. I moved here from Philly back in May to help my dad recover from a car accident. Over the summer I took the Metra line down to work everyday. At the same time, I'm lookin' at the Speed3 and getting my money in order for a purchase. I kept riding past this place at the Libertyville stop. They always had some nice lookin' cars outside. Never paid much attention to it until I saw the name and realized .. "well, hey... I bet a place called Protege Garage would be a great place to get my future car worked on".
So, I go out... buy the car.. and start lookin' around online only to find out that this little store which I passed every single day for the past six months is one of the leading Mazda specialists in the.. country.
Anyway, I thought that was pretty awesome. And now that Christmas has come and gone and I finally have some money to start throwin' into the car I get the feeling I'll be taking a ride over to meet Ken and company very soon.
Little background about myself... I'm new to the area (Lindenhurst/Lake Villa, IL), name's Justin, I'm 20 years old, work in a diesel shop down in Chicago, and... the question I know everyone was wondering... the car is True Red. I know my stuff as far as trucks (gas and diesel) go, but I've never owned a car before (previous vehicle was an F-150 Lightning). I am an automotive enthusiast, to say the very least.
Welp, anyway, I've been peaking around here for about two months now, I just figured I should probably introduce myself.
