looks something like that.

I don't get it.... you mean you put the boot cover on the stick, and make it like the manual stick?

I Took A Manual Shift Kit And Turned My Sport Shift Into A Manual Well, In Looks It Was Simple

let translate this for you guys...

he took a shift boot kit and put it on his sport shifter AT. Turning is sport into manual... in looks. it was easy.

Well w/the sport shifter it's kinda cool because in a sense, only you know how to work it. You can't visibly see the track it's supposed to go, so if anyone else tries to drive it, they might have problems hehe.

I was playing around w/this idea, too, but was worried I couldn't get the top of the boot to stick right because of the polished metal. I'd like to see some pics as well!

you can buy kits that the boot screws into the knob. i just pictured mine. Its an auto and it looked better then painting the gate.

I like it. Simple mod just for looks. I think it would be so funny to drop the car off at a dealership for something and have them move it them selves. I'd just stand around trying not to bust out laughing as the tech looks for the clutch and tries to find 1st or reverse gear.

yea its pretty funny but all you have to do is look at the dash... its kinda like a benz.

But how many techs will get into a Pro and look at the dash?

If I had an auto I'd do that too.

Wait I do have an auto, in my 66 Mustang and the B&M rachet shifter looks similar to a B&M manual. Except on the Stang I do all my own stuff so it wouldn't be going to a stealership.

Either way this person did it and they like it so more power to them. No need to be screaming RICE because one person doesn't have the same taste as another.

Its their car to do what ever they want to make it different from the rest.
