I can't find this part

Hey guys,
Can anyone point me in the direction to get a new one of those black air intake tubes for my '99? The one on it now has a big crack in it. Thanks a bunch,

you have a 99? which engine? 1.6 or 1.8? i'm sure someone has replaced there's with a CAI or SRI and would be willing to sell the stock tube. otherwise, you can always go to the dealer.

yea the one for the 1.6l is a b**** to find i need one too. if its not at one of the ends, use epoxy. or u can go get a universal one, hook it to the box to the throttle body, and put a breather filter on the breather valve, or try a junkyard.

Most likely, the dealer. It is very easy and I've just replaced one for my 2000 1.6L and made all the difference in terms of increased acceleration!

really?? maybe i shud try one. mines is epoxied and duct taped.

Yeah, I initially had it taped too and felt an immediate power. I decided to buy the $40 part from Mazda and not have to look under my hood once every 3 days. The new part comes with a new PCV valve too.

hhmmmm. (by the way thats a breather the pcv is at the top on the head cover.)
