I broke my arm!

thursday night i was skateboarding with some of my friends at an oversized 4 stair with a picnic table set down it. ive skated this spot for a few nights and had gotten comfortable with it.

i went for a 5-0 grind (back truck of the skateboard only sliding) and i slipped out of it. sent me onto my back, tried to catch myself and my right arm snapped. broke the ulna and the radius. so now im the owner of 2 plates and 8 screws in my right arm. btw im left handed so i guess thats good.

so now i have 6 to 8 weeks of doing nothing, no skateboarding, no swimming, and worst of all, no mp3 driving

i just thought id share.

Ya know, as soon as I read the topic I looked over and saw your username and thought to myself "bet he did it while skateboarding". Guess I was right!

Well just think of it as a battle scar...and hopefully next time you won't make that same mistake!

my cousin did almost the exact same thing, trick and all and broke his left arm saturday at the Louisville, KY skatepark.

dang kats, kinda weird.

i was about to pick up a few more sponsors, meaning less money spent on skate stuff more money into the car. but i guess thats all off now.

i guess the arm breaking is just one of the hazdards of the "job" as zoomzoomh put it tonight

Sorry to hear about your accident. Hope you feel better soon. And, like zoomzoom said, don't get addicted to those pills! I had surgery on my arm and had to take Vicodin... It was great stuff, but I can't remember anything that happened while I was on it!
