I am wondering how many people want to go the AEM plug and play route

I am wondering because I am going to call them every day and tell them how many people with P5s and MP3 are waiting on them to complete there so called 6 month project. Which after tomorrow it will be a 5 month project, the last time I talked to them was a month ago.

I am wondering why they are taking so long. Check out the aempower web site, they have one for almost every Honda and Acura. But no Mazda has to wait, unless you own a Miata, or RX7. Let me know how many Protege's are interested so I will let them know. Thanks

Actually, if you can get someone to make a harness that will work on our Protegess, you'd have no problem running the AEM. Once it's on, you'd have to program some baseline maps so you'd be able to use it with no problem.

I'm interested...but once again it becomes a cost factor....I took a look but didn't see a price listing on this thing...any ideas?

I'd like to get one too but I'm not holding my breath. It took them a long time to develop their ECU for the Hondas, and they had a much larger market for them with open source code from Honda. But I'd think if they've done the Miata alraedy, the Pro would be a snap.

I've seen a Honda unit played with the windows software, and it's a sweet package. The 3D graphs are kick ass. If they do the Pro units the same, they'll plug into the factory harness and be truely plug and play with base maps already loaded. The only extra wire you'd need to add to the harness would be if you had a fuel or boost controller to add in.

Look for them to be in the $1600 to 1800 range. Also if you don't already have a lap top, you'll be needing one of those too.

I like the AEM idea and am kicking it around for my car...I just need to figure out what to do...
