I am a new protege5 owner

Hellow everyone, I am new here, I've just purchased a brand new 2003 Mazda Protege5 5-spd, silver color, expect to be delivered on this saturday. So here I am, I hope I can find a home here as to my protege5 owner experience.

I got this brand new protege5 $500 below invoice according to the internet. Shown at $15,800 invoice including transportation fee I got it at $15,300, final price at $16,500 including all tax and fees, I'm wondering if I got a good deal...

I already have a list of modifcation I'll be doing to my new 5, but I'll enjoy a month of manual transmission after being held as hostage in an automatic Camry for 2 years. Then it's time to do business, intake, exhaust, suspension, turbo/intercooler, in that order.

I think I'll enjoy it here, and I hope you'll all enjoy me joining this forum for some fun talk too!

Welcome. your price was excellent. you must not have purchased ABS, side air bags or a sunroof. I did on my 2002.5 P5.

I paid $16,300 total for my P5, only option was a moonroof, with some freebies thrown in. I got the $400 col. rebate though. So I think you did pretty good on your deal. Gotta love them silver P5's! Oh, yeah welcome to the forum.

mopiko, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
