Hyperfest 2010

Hey Everybody, Hyper-Fest is June 19th 2010 this year at Summit Point.
Quick list of who all would be interested in going and also doing the Hyper Drive. This is a blast to do, 40bucks for class and track time was well worth it, and you can sign up for as many sessions as you want.

Last Year was a blast, but i felt the mazda turn out was so/so. I know this falls also during the week of EECMM, so a list of Ya or Na of who's going.

I am working with NASA Mid-Atlantic for special pricing for Mazda owners that want to do Hyperdrive for that weekend. They would like to see a large Mazda prescence at this event. We will be finalizing the details tomorrow and I will post it up in the section.

Hyperdrive is an introduction to HPDE, 1/2 hour of classroom instruction and a 1/2 hour of track time with an instructor. We are looking @ $40.00 for the event, which I will confirm tomorrow.

any updates to this?! $40 is the normal price for the hyperdrive anyway!

NOt sure if will go. but driving on the track is nice did it a NOPI a couple times done at Atlanta Motor Speedway. But I need to finish brakes and suspension before take on track. I may go just to walk around and check the seen nice drive form Bmore. Take my son, maybe drag my wife too lol....

there will probably be people (mazdas) meeting at charles town race and slots then heading to summit!

looks like they won't have the off road stuff going on this year drifting and roll-over contest are always fun to watch!

I'll be driving the Maxima so I'll head straight to the track. I drive into the in field section, so there's no way the Miata is going "off roading" through the back path.

Most of my www.m3f.com crew backed out because of other obligations. Therefore, only 3 of us coming. We're meeting at the event, not the parking lot of Charlestown Races. HOWEVER...

I'm coming from the opposite direction, as I'll be driving I-81 instead of Route 340. Therefore, Charlestown is not logical. Depending on the direction your traveling, you and I could meet up?? If not, we can meet at the event.

Would love to see your HyperDrive race.

Hyperfest rocked, but the heat was just too much for extended fun. Arrived around 10:20 and left around 5:00 PM. Good time though.
