Howdy all-

Is anyone able to fo for a drive today? The mountains are calling me, but not till around 3 today.

Alpine all the way to Pescadero is a great ride, I was thinkng about that one, but on a day like today there will be a sh*t load of traffic. So any other ideas?

Andrew, I totally agree with you on the AEM EMS. I am going to be getting it as soon as Nick gets back to me. AEM EMS, AEM wideband, Fuel Pump and 440CC injectors = me running 10-12psi on my stock block safely.

Rawny, you have a RB exhaust on your car? If you do then I have to see it and hear it. I so want that exhaust on my car cause it looks so freaken clean.

Tony has a Racing Beat exhaust on his car too. Honestly I don't think the catback racing beat and the Mazdaspeed Racing Beat sound that different. (I have had both) Since you already have a more free flowing better sounding exhaust, I honestly think the $500 could be better spent elsewhere, then upgrade exhaust down the line if you still want to do that.

I agree with Jared, the RB exhaust is really no different from the MSP exhaust. Isnt the MSP exhaust made by racing beat anyways though?

I would love to drive today and give my new tires a break-in run. But unfortunately yardwork and mother's day weekend responsibilities call.... As soon as I finish fixing my girlfriend's computer it's on my way home and out to the yard

No fun in daylight conditions-oh well. I normally have too many beers in me by dark for driviging under nightime conditions...definatly my loss.

I'm too lazy to go searching so can anyone give me a quick rundown for the auto-x event next week, I'm drooling already.

• Take the 66th Ave. exit (one exit north of Hegenburger)

I'll be running in Street Prepared F(SPF) as opposed to STS which I did last time. I can do the same mods but will have a better chance in a competition since there is a smaller spectrum of cars that compete against me

STS and SP are pretty much similar except you can do more a couple things more than just bolt ons like LSD Flywheel Clutch and some other stuff. Ayone wanna run in this class with me? Here are the full regulations:

Just for reference. Most of the mods I have done are what are permitted in that class. There are only a couple I'm missing(IE lsd, timing adjustment, sway bars)

Also, you are not permitted to do any fun runs until you have finished competition so getting there early will only mean you have to help out longer

I'm still up for a run-a chance to break in the new tires. On just the ride home, the msp felt totally reborn-fresh tires rule!!

sometimes, depending who's doing it, they dont let you do fun runs unless you came to help out, rather than reward people with fun runs for showing up last minute. they're usually desparate for help early and at the end, cause people cut out to avoid working, but who knows, maybe they're more generous with fun runs now
