Hwy 9 Fun Run!

Dude, that sucks, Alex. :( I hope that thing is back in action ASAP. Page Mill is a pretty dangerous road. I'm glad you didn't fly off of a cliff or something.

That would be bad if all you needed was the cap and it took a week to get here.

Glad to hear the car is coming along though. Can't wait to hear it.
In theory the radiator cap is on a truck to be delivered today, I just hope FedEx comes through and doesn't deliver it to the wrong house or something (like they did with my last package from CorkSport).

If it wasn't for LinuxRacer installing his AWR radiator and discovering that the cap from the stocker doesn't fit, I never would have known and would have had a nasty surprise today when the radiator cap didn't fit, but since I found out in time I was able to get it 2nd day delivery from CorkSport. I'll have a nice 1.3 bar Mazdaspeed cap to go along with the bigger radiator, keeping things nice and cool.

Damn Deer!!!!!

I swear next time I come across one I might just hit it, less damage to my car.

Too bad this guy wasn't up there last night to give you a hand before the incident:

I gave him the number of the body shop my friend works at.

They do great work. And they were willing to work with me to get aftermarket parts instead of OEM s***. Can you say WW Front bumper and FI CF Hood, Alex? Just sucks it had to be this way, huh?

Also, don't forget that if the WW FB is too much(I think it will be like $250 out of your pocket), you can also go with the MSP front bumper. You will lose the yellow side markers, which would make it look pretty clean. But you will have to sacrifice the fogs. At least the OEM ones. I'm sure you could find some PIAAs or Hella to wire in there. Just a thought.

Damn! Nice catch by him then, huh?

Well I'm runiing into trouble with the headlights but I think I can work through it. I assumed the headlight lenses were independently aimed but it seems I'm incorrect in the assumption. Those two brass bolts are all that's holding the reflector in the housing. I say reflector because they are just one unit. Unfortunately I have to turn it into two separate units. I believe I may just eliminate the aiming function on the high beams and glue the reflector into place so I can cut out the low beam reflector. Once that's done I should have plenty of room to play around where the low beam reflector once was.
