Hwy 9 Fun Run!

I'm not feelin' that GL-10. Maybe because I had a car that looked exactly like that and it was a complete POS...and that's an understatement.
That thing left me stranded more times than my 914, Starion and Jeep put together, and all three of those died on me more than once.

Well, I figured out what the problem is with the P5.
Ever since I put in the header, it never sounded quite right, and now I have a feeling why. The header has a HUGE crack in it. I'd say I (julie) put about 150 miles on it since I put it in, and now it's ******. Could this be why it had a fresh coat of paint on it when I recieved it? To hide someones crappy JB weld job? Grrr.

Natey, can you return or exchange it back to Wagner? man, I've seen your post at the miataforum too regearding your miata. I hope thats all sorted out.. I feel for you man...

Thanks, you guys. :) I'm actually kinda stoked that it was only the header. You should've heard the P5, it didn't sound like an exhaust leak. It sounded ugly and internal. whew!

The Miata is another story. :( I sure hope Dick at Hidden Valley Automotive can sort this s*** out. I haven't heard from him today, and I'm afraid that no news might be bad news. A little threadlock when I installed the s/c, and I'd never be having this dilemma. The damn thing ran GREAT until the pulley bolts got loose, then broke. (hand) idiot!!

I'm still hoping that the fix is traced back to something really simple, like a fuse or a bent pin inside one of the connectors you removed. After all that work trying to get the bolt out, then reinstalling everything only to have it not start is really a kick in the balls.

I hope you're on the road soon, and you're up for giving me a scare in the Miata, Natey.
