Hwy 9 Fun Run!

Man all the NPOTS are on my good list. Some of ya are just gonna have to reform. LOL!!!!! NPOT RULES!!!!!!

For reals you guys, not sure if you saw but a gentleman with an impreza had responded to an ad one of our reps placed on a subaru board. In any case he PM'd our rep and in the subject requested a "turboback exhaust system" and then in the body of the message posted a price. Well, our rep quickly read thru and miss interpretted the pm and assumed it was a catback because the offer was so low balled. Like a $1020 RS*R system for $680.00. WEll our rep replied and felt he was paying too much and replied with $650.00 out the door but did not indicate that this was for the catback only. So all in all, the consumer was under the impression he was getting a great deal on a turboback, while our rep assumed he was selling a product near retail with sales tax.

Long story short, gentleman came into the office and I was then informed of this mishap. The rep apologized for the mistake, we understand that he had to spend the time to come down - but AutoRnD ain't that bad a place to visit right?, in reading the email. Rep informed me and I said I would check on our cost and see what i could do for the customer. I ask the customer to hang on for a minute and let me work the numbers. Rep and I go into the office, sit down and work the numbers, we come up with a reasonable figure. As low as i could possibly go without cutting our throats, it was only $735.00 for this system. One hell of a discount, he was willing to pay $680.00 before. Now the government isn't something I'm gonna mess with and he wanted cash out the door for the lower price. So he came in I offered him a seat and gave him the price. I tried to show him retail so as a consumer can recognize the size of discount I was giving him. Regardless, he wasn't interested, got up and left pretty quickly. I didn't even have a chance to mention that I was just gonna do that at that moment. I could not do it tomorrow or the day after.

Next thing I know, he posts on the board a thumbs down to us. we were like, wtf, where did this come from. We strive to be very professional and frankly try our best to consult with our clients rather than just shooting them prices. WE go over projects, objectives, and then qualify a product to suit all these needs. It sucks for us cause we're still competing with all the internet stores as far as price but have to spend more time with our clients as well. Not only that but we are also one of the only, if not the only company in the Bay Area that inventories as much stuff as we do, def for proteges, but SILVIAS, FD'S, 350Z, HACHI, and now HONDA. LOL!!!!!!

Charlie, I got RS*R Exmag coming soon. hehe, BB6 is one of best applications. lol. Give you a spankin ass deal cause you coo with the NPOT crew. hahahaha.

Point of this story was that Andrew and even a couple other loyal clients who actually have a relationship with us and know our pricinciples and involvement with these cars, stood up and defended our company. Almost too unprofessionally. LOL!!!!!! It was great though, you guys are end users you can do that to each other. I always have to be so PC. LOL. So that's how he got on my REALLY REALLY good side.

In any case, if you guys want to get on my OMG good side do the same thing. If there's anyone out there who has posted negative feedback please inform me so I may address the issue and if genuine apologize. Things happen in business and I wish I could control everything, but with expansion comes more people/personalities, and lives collide. We have great hearts, ethics, and strive to be the best at what we do. We greatly value our clients and frankly most of them just end up being friends of ours. Come over to the house, eat some food, watch some TV, do some other things, have a beer, whatevers. WE're down like that and are doing great things for the industry up here period. I pray that the community will learn to appreciate that in the upcoming year so we may continue to survive and raise the bar on service and education in this industry.

I'll be out soon, work has been kicking my ass. WE have a container of Work Super Wheels coming tomorrow. About 60 wheels, all presold pretty much, but dayum it will be a FUN FUN DAY. TIME FOR CAMERA. hehe.

Thanks guys, Rishie

lol, I read that Soobie thread. It seemed like everyone saw right through his little charade and heckled him. It takes more than one random whiner to tarnish your business's hard-earned reputation in the Bay Area. Also, don't get me wrong about the Craigslist thing, bro. More advertising=more business=better deals for you=better selection and prices for us! All Good! (thumb)

You da man Rishie, we all appreciate you and I know I try to stand up for the vendors that I have purchased from on the boards every chance I get.

Works! David is looking into the rims for the 6.... he's going to put up a plan and send it to you pretty soon. Apparently the plan has to be based on his income hence he gets more money than me now, but whatever I make half will go into the project.
