Hurricane rain got into my headlight....

hey guys, yea Hurricane Katrina made a pretty big disaster in miami, and sadly my car got the only injury out of the 3... basically nothing really really bad, my left headlight blew up when i turned it on, the hurricane water somehow snuck into it. Where can i get the whole replacement unit? i took out the cable and its a little unit that looks like a wall plug, the part number seems to be... SN911-01200.

Btw, this was an HID light, i don't mind changing back to the manufacturer halogen or blue xenon but i want to know where (other than ebay, i think they only have bulbs) i can find the cost and the part itself, if its only around $10 like on ebay, i'll probably end up changing the foglights as well please help!!

call me stupid, i am a little confused on what you are looking for. are you looking for the bulb or the healight unit..or something else?

sorry, here's a pic, its w/ a webcam but it can be viewable. its the low beam unit, has a plug in one end. you can see that the bulb is completely blown, but i want to know if i can just replace the bulb with no problem, or if i have to replace this entire unit?

dude, its just a socket. if it plugs in fine and the spring is not broken and holds it in fine then its most likely fine. just go to your favorite parts store and get yourself a bulb (get 2 and replace both for even light output and look)

alright, thanks, now i want to replace the fogs as well, can i do the same procedure? or does that have to be completely replaced?

oh yea. . thats not an hid bulb

the fog bulbs can be replaced too. . they are just a little harder to get to
