Since I know some people have been looking for wheel spacers lately, I took it upon myself to do some investigating and some research. I have purchased an old set of Turfburn's hub-centric spacers to compare to.

All of my spacers will be made to fit vehicles with a 67.1mm bore and a 5X114.3 bolt pattern. These will fit: Protege, Mazda3, Mazda6, and possibly other vehicles. They will be made of aluminum and made to order. Here are the details:

3mm (1/8") spacers: $25 a pair

5mm (3/16") spacers: $30 a pair

8mm (5/16") spacers: $40 a pair

I will offer a $5 discount if you order a full set (total of 4) of either 3mm, 5mm, 8mm, or mixed. I can also make these in different sizes, such as 10mm, by request (extra charge). These prices are for the parts shipped.

PAYMENT: For those in the US, please send your payment to the PayPal email address "outrage_display@hotmail.com". Please include your Mazdas247 username and your desired spacers. For those outside of the US, please PM your shipping address and I will get a shipping quote ASAP (I will cover the first $5). Also, this is not my primary email, so if you have any questions and/or do send payment, please PM here so I am notified right away.

so whats the largest spacer with stock studs you can use on a msp, and will you notice a difference? and does this affect alignment or anything?

I have heard of people using 8mm spacers without using extended studs, but I personally haven't seen it.

it will effect your alignment slightly, as you are giving the wheel more leverage against the spring. I wouldn't call it significant though.

enough to notice bad tire wear? considering these, just not sure if its worth bothering with for such a small spacer and possibly misalignment. anyone have them on for a few months chime in?

I switched to a 47 offset wheel and ran it all last summer, stock is 55, so, that'd be roughly the same change as an 8mm spacer, I didn't notice ANY problem, and I'm also lowered.

^ Thanks for the bump. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, nor are the spacers :)

Just wondering before I decide on purchasing, if I have a 16x8 +40 wheel would I be able to fit 5mm spacers in the front and 3mm in the back and not have to run extended studs? Fenders will be rolled.

Yes anything under 8mm is ok to run on stock stud's..You can run 8mm spacer's also people have done it but not very safe.So 3mm or 5mm would be my limit

So I'm going to be lowering my car with an Eibach Pro Kit this spring (very soon) and was wondering if I should get a set of these. Do they make the wheels fit better under the fender or what? I don't have the fenders rolled and yea I'm a total noob when it comes to this stuff so pardon my ignorance. If it does help fitment I would definitely be interested in a set of 3mm all around.

The spacers push the wheel out closer to the fenders, giving them a flusher, wider stance. Best thing to do is get a tape measurer and check the distance between the wheel and the inner fender. With 3mm, you shouldn't have any problems with having to roll or pull fenders, unless your rims have some crazy ass offset.

Thinking of grabbing some spacers. I'm on Racing Hart rims with 215/45/17 tires. Tires just barely clear the "strut" inside the fender. I was wondering if 3mm (might consider 5mm) would be enough to help clear the "struts" even more and also away from the fender. I would also like to avoid 8mm spacers just to be on the safe side with the studs.

spacer will make you further away from the strut, closer to the fender. 3-5mm will still leave you plenty of clearance at your offset and tire size.

So, there any extra sets then? I thought these were all bought up. If there are any sets available, let me know; I am interested. Thanks!

I have a few 3mm sets and plenty of 8mm sets left. If you want 5mm, I will have to order some more material and make some more.

See above.

I installed my front 8mm set the other day. One of them the holes didn't line up perfectly, and I was running out of time, so I hammered it on. That'll be fun to take off when I need to do my brakes...
