So, was trolling ebay and craigslist looking to see if there were any Forge bypass valves or Dash Hawks for sale and stumbled across listings for a used Fujita CAI and brand new HPS CAI. Searched and couldnt find anything here on the HPS, so I'm trying to find out if anyone has one of these. Fujita seems to be decently recieved around here, so thats covered.
And can anyone confirm the rumor that the MS CAI is just a rebadged/labeled AEM CAI?

I don't know for sure, but there is strong evidence that the MSCAI gen 2 with air straightener is just a rebadged AEM. I can't tell any difference and don't know anyone else who has found a difference.

The two companies do give different instructions on placement angle of the air straightener. I went with AEM's advice originally, but have changed to angle to match the Mazdaspeed recommendation, just on the assumption that they know something model specific that perhaps AEM did not figure out.

Both are very high quality products that produce very good gains. Car and Driver got a dyno'd gain of 20 hp and 20 lb. torque with the MSCAI. I feel certain that the AEM would have dynoed the same on that car on that day.

OK, got an AEM off ebay complete with the air straightener. Was bidding on a HKS SSQV from the same guy but my comp decided to lock up with 5 minutes to go on that and I got sniped before I could reboot...snarl.
