hows this kit looking?

what made you decide to get a turboed car... if you are not like someone who loves working on cars in their garage that car isnt for you.. with a car like this, like 90% of the people here knows what they are doing... anyways, get exhaust intake fmic afc boost controller etc basic bolt ons you'll be fine, dont go big turbo if you dont race on the tracks a lot... and when you do get those parts who's installing them??? gonna cost a crap load of green if you let a shop do it... man you're probably gonna end up spending more money on installation fees than the mods you buy....... and if you do get that kit, you'll end up working on the car a whole lot and its gonna have problems you dont even know... is this car your daily driver or more like a weekend warrior??

Just get and MBC and crack her up! Just kidding... anyways the best way to decide which mods you want is to decide your over all goal. Read more about the car and it's limitations, then balance that out with how much money you want to spend..

It's not wise to have ppl dictate what you want don to YOUR car..

Seriously thou, this forum is huge and has some many knowledgeable people..READ

I was actually looking at these too
Corksport FMIC vs Hiboost Front Mount Intercooler Kit

the hiboost i was reading that its had to install to have a 45 to a 90 to fit correctly compared to the corcksport witch will i hear is not hard to install and you get the most power out of your engine bay.

-do you have to take out the factory crash bar out with hiboost??

Piggybacks are ok until you go big and all out. If you plan on going big like the Big Boost Kit you should look into an EMS.
Welcome to the money pit MSP.

what kind of problems

Unichip problems are vendor related, as some vendors are very unfamiliar with the products they sell. I bought a Unichip about two years ago, the first one I received was faulty from the factory and was exchanged no problems.Recently I had mine tuned by JDM Sam @ Crossover Auto and am amazed at the difference in the performance. If you are looking at a Unichip, I recommend Crossover Auto as they will inspect and re-tune the Unichip to your mods, he is the only vendor who performs this service, and IMO has the best knowledge of these cars.

Unichip problems are vendor related.

I and more than a few others have other issues with the Unichip that have nothing to do with my experience or anyone else's experience selling the unit. I had a shop call me yesterday with "years of unichip tuning" under thier belt and ask for advice applying it to what he wanted to do with a customer's msp. i told him what he wanted to do was not going to work and he basically told me i was wrong because I don't personally tune them. today he called me back having eaten a piece of humble pie to talk standalone options.

For some people and within certain limitations its a functional unit. I don't want to get into a pissing match with people over it, so I personally will leave it at that.
