Howdy Y'all - New 6 owner from TX

Hello everyone. I just picked up my brand spankin' new 2014 black on black Mazda6 i Grand Touring with GT Tech package last Friday evening. Yes, Happy Valentines Day to me! I'm new here on this forum, but not to the car and modding world. Forums are my first place to turn when I'm ready to upgrade, repair, or research anything related to my vehicles. Glad to be in the Mazda6. My son just turned 16, and I passed my lifted Jeep KJ down to him. Figured it would be a nice change for me to get something sporty, but with good gas mileage. I also own a Suburban, which is my wife's DD. Not really interested in making the 6 a fast car. I've got a 2007 Z06 to scratch that itch. Looking forward to the new community here.

My 2007 Liberty that I gave to my son - hence the need to buy a new DD for myself.

Hi, welcome to the forum! I just bought mine about 2 months ago. Bought it as a daily driver. Traded 2004 G35X for it. The reason I bought the Mazda is due to the various great reviews about the 6, especially the Car & Driver chose the 6 & 3 in their 2014 10 Best Cars! I don't plan to mod mine as I have a 2012 Mustang GT for the weekend. Good luck with your 6!
