How would you spend $4000AUD on a SP20?

or a simplier explaination - the strut bar links the top of the strut/shock absorber , the sway bar links the bottom of them

a sway bar is more important. i'd be pretty sure you have sway bars, just not sure about the strut bar.

yeah i have a rear strut bar. it certainly helps reduce chasis flex on the rear. would love to design a mid-section bar...ie connecting both b-pillars

ahh ok, thanks for that, yeh definately dont have a strut bar, i'd get one but i dont have much money at the moment for anything.
i believe that SP20's had them stock though?

hrmm .. so anyone selling a stock SP20 strut bar ??
or would i be getting an aftermarket one straight up?

do you brissy guys know where I could find one locally?

you should be able to get an aftermarket one no problems. check out pedders and mercury motorsport (www.mercurymotorsport.com.au). they have just opened. they are at newmarket (newmarket rd). i know they deal in cusco, and cusco makes a strut brace for our cars...

Ok. Here's how I've spent my first $4000.

1. K&N replacement air filter - $90
2. Cat-back exhaust - $400
3. H&R springs - $600
4. Unichip - $750 (bought second hand)
5. Clear side indicators, shorty antenna - $80
6. B&M short shifter, Kartboy bushings - $250
7. MSP rims and 215/40 tyres - $1700
Total = $3880 (including all labour and fitting costs)

What's next? (in no particular order)
- cold air intake
- rest of exhaust system
- shocks
- upgraded rear swaybar

Just done it as we speak! If someone wants to host them for me properly I'll email the pics to you.

Cool. I never knew members could do that (obviously). So how many files are we allowed to upload altogether?

Hi Zed,

Have you done a dyno run with this particular piggyback chip?

Did you notice the difference straight away.
