ok how do i get the wires from the stock 6x9's to my rear door? and if i dont want all that slack on the wires can i cut them and sodder another clip onto it? and also how is it possible to have 6 speakers in a car, like 2 components, 2 full ranges and 2 mid bass, like really how is it possible to wire all of those with all those amps and headunits for 4x22w or w/e

BUMP, I would like to know too. I guess you can use a 4 channel amp to power the front and rear deck and use the headunit to power the rear doors.

You can't just gang six speakers onto a 2 ch or 4 ch amp or head unit.

Get a six channel amp. (Easiest)

The head unit puts out 4w max - so it really isn't an option.

I'm not talking about using the stock headunit, I mean use an aftermarket one that puts out decent numbers to power the rear door and use a 4 ch amp to power the front speakers and rear deck. I'm pretty sure that can be done. Yes, a 6ch amp would be the easiest, but alsp probably be the most expensive way too.

you CAN run 3 sets of speakers off a 2 channel headunit, if you want to blow it up

6 channel amp = teh win
amp owners manual will even show you exactly what to do

here's the problem:

let's say you have 2 set of 2 speakers ( components), that's 4 speakers per channel on a 2channel amp
4+4ohm = 2 ohm load

not the right way to go for sound quality unless the speakers and the amp
were designed to be run at that impedance.

Ive had 3 sets of speakers in my car for years, no problems except great sound. SIBalla knows what i'm talking about.

front speakers and NOTHING in the rear for the win... save the extra $ from a 6 ch amp, and rear door speakers and do it right the first time with a NICE front component set and a 2 ch amp or a 4ch and add a sub as well

Yeah I have the type x in the trunk, and type x compenents in the front, thats perfect for the spl and SQ, the rest of the speakers are for the SQ, not spl, I dunno just sounded werid with my rear door speakers turned off.

6speakers are NOT SQ. they are more speakers=more sound mindset. But when you think abou tit, it's car STEREO... nowthen, perhaps if the rears are integrated into aa legitimate surround sound setup thigns get different, because then you're dealing with formats recorded for it... it's been beaten to death, but PLEASE realize that this is NOT a SQ setup. look at competition cars. you'll find a VERY heavy front soundstage. rear speakers are generally limited to fill, often only play upper midrange, and are at a much lesser level than fronts. Of course there's a few rare exceptions, but more does not=better, in reality it's tough enough staging, aiming, and EQing your front stage.
