How to wire your fogs to come on with the parking light switch...
I am not responsible for you blowing fuses, setting yourself on fire, or anything that happens when you do this...
I did not include the easy steps like connecting a ground wire or a power source...
The parts I used...
2x 4 pin 30 amp relays
2x inline fuse holders
6x wire taps
8x female spade connectors
Some wire
Electrical Tape

Tools
Floor Jack
Jack Stands
Wire stripper/cutter/crimper
10 mm wrench

1) Disconnect neg & pos terminals from the battery.

2) Use a wire tap to tap into the orange wire in the pic shown here. (It is right next to your headlight)

3) Use wire taps to tap into the input to your HIDs. This will have one black and one red wire that your stock plug that your normal fog light bulb would plug into normally.
If you have stock fogs you would simply CUT the 2 wires going to your bulb, and connect them where I connected the HIDs...

4) Connect the ground to your HIDs to a good ground of your choice.

5) Connect a short ground wire near the headlight. (I used the black bolt that holds the headlight down.

6) Use your inline fuse and connect a power lead to the battery.

7) Run all these wires to right behind the headlight.

8) Connect to the relay as follows...

30 - 12V line from battery
85 - Ground
87 - Output to fogs
86 - Input from tapped orange wire

9) Wrap it all up in electrical tape and repeat on the other side. Everything is the same on both sides!

Pretty much the same, instead of tapping into the orange wire like I did you would just find a wire that gets power when the ignition is on.
I am also thinking about changing my setup to this. But I want to be able to turn them off with a switch in the cabin somewhere in case I want them off.

Makes sense

I wonder if we could provide ignition on power to the fog light switch some how. If you figure this out I would appreciate your instructions

Shouldn't be too hard, you should just be able to open up the plastic around the steering column, find the ignition wire, use a relay to tap the power from it and hook it up to the + side of the fog light wire. You would have to use a multi-meter or wire tester to find them, it would just take some poking around. I don't think I want to try doing it this way though since I already know of 1 person who fried their lighting control module just poking around trying to figure out how it worked. That module cost about $400 to replace I think. My setup works good enough for me not to risk that kind of $$

Hey wolly, I want to do this mod, but I don't have HID's. I read some setups where you can remove the fog light relay in the fuse box inside the engine bay. But that was for an 09 ms3. Do you know w/o HID's and cutting into stock light wires, if this is possible? B/c I looked into the box and I don't see anywhere it says fog light relay on any of the fuses. I see a relay that says DRL (ARS) but I don't know what "ars" stands for. I am assuming DRL is for daytime running lights which we don't have on '10 ms3. Any ideas? Here's the post on the '09

You can't do that on a 10 - 11, that's why I did it this way. Our cars have a thing called a "lighting control module" that controls the way our lights work. I know people with other brands of cars have been able to swap their module out for a european one, and it does what they want. I know of one person with a 10 ms3 who blew theirs trying to figure out what the wires were for an easier way to do the mod.
