How to spend about 800 bucks??

Hey all, I have just recently come across some money and I am wondering what the best next investment on my car would be.

I already have an Injen air filter, boost gauge and air fuel gauge in a dual apillar pod.

I have already ordered a greddy auto timer turbo timer and a joep MBC (those were not part of the 800 I have to spend)

I am thinking of these options:

1.) Apex downpipe with thermal coating
2.) Magnus motorsports turbo back exhaust
3.) Custom FMIC
4.) Greddy profec e-01
5.) Save for spool turbo kit
6.) spool springs
7.) Hard pipe kit and a BOV
8.) In Car nice DVD system
9.) Catz HID system or bulbs

I dont know about the custom FMIC because if i want to do a turbo upgrade later than i dont know if the FMIC will be compatible with that upgrade.

I was really thinking about a greddy e-manage as well. Since we are having serious issues with our fuel cut and what not, maybe an e-manage would be a good investment to see what we can do.

Also, what about that new kit joep has out for the fuel pressure check system? is that a good 25 bux to spend??

Thanks all, --bryan

Ill be in the market soon & most likely will spend about $800- also.
For me its been very hard to plan out how to spend the money, its not much.
At least you have the a-pillar set up, I still have to get that also.
You have a nice list there so far, I my self cant go with anything on that list yet.
Though if I had to choose from your list, Id go with the Magnus motorsports turbo back exhaust. Plus you will still have some money & with a little more you can add the spool springs....
Its very expensive & maybe getting it now would do you good later on
Good luck

it depends what you want out of your car? ICe or performance..
i would start with the downpipe and exhaust system first to free up sum restriction.

as for ice new speakers and a amp to power your speaker also a new headunit. or invest in a serious system then work up to tv screens.

here's an idea....buy me a new tire :(

gotta damn flat today and I can't find another dunlop, I'll even take a used one !

What do you all think about apexi's boost controller? And what about the fuel piggyback computer as well?? Would they help me out with some fuel issues and help me gain some power? Or will a joep mbc suffice??

I have switched to the OSOFast MBC constructed through
- Brent Rau- , I originally had the JoeP.
www.osofastracing.com
The change I found was with the OSO being more stable and holding the PSI rather than letting it go and fall as with the JoeP did.
Personally I do not think $800 USD will cover a FMIC installed.
I agree with the others that you want to free up the flow of the gases first.

What do you guys think about aan Apex Downpipe cat eliminator and a Greddy profec e-01?

If i do this, i will be freeing up som restriction as well as getting consistent boost as well as getting my feet wet with the e-manage thing. I need to learn how to tune fuel curves and such. The profec e-01 has the same capabilities as the rgular e-manage unit doesnt it??

what do you all think?

damn you forgot to add option where you give dominoy2k1 all the money...:D.....downpipe...

thought the downpipe has engine light problem.. unless u dun mind having that light on whenever u turn on your engine.. go for it
